The Europe of my dreams is one bearing responsibility for stopping climate change – and prospering just because of that. One caring for people as well as economy. I am devoted to working for equality, for democracy and for future generations.

Climate action – now!
We have but one globe, and we must keep it habitable for our children. Protecting nature and environment, we also generate jobs and welfare. In all of Europe, we must acknowledge that actions speak louder than words, and we have to create a level playing field for climate work.
Europe standing up for the weaker
In addition to economy, Europe must take care of people. Inequality and discrimination are fuel for extremism. Respecting human rights and investing in education and social security, we are building a mutual, thriving Europe.
For human rights and democracy
I want to build a world where hate speech is warded off, minorities are supported and those in need are helped. Instead of walls and dinghies, we need more safe routes into Europe. It must be insisted that democracy, legal state and freedom of press are respected by all member states.
Boosting Eastern Finland
Right now, Eastern Finland needs advocates, both within Finland and in Europe. With support from EU, we can enhance our international outlook, rail connections and creative thinking in Eastern Finland.
